Van Morrison – Live in California, 1973 (4-LP Vinyl Bundle)

On 15 February 1973, Van Morrison performed two live sets (early and late shows) at The Lion’s Share, in San Anselmo, California. This unmissable four-disc bundle presents both of those celebrated performances.

The sets featured material from Van Morrison’s 1972 album, St. Dominic’s Preview, and songs from his yet-to-be-released seventh studio album, Hard Nose the Highway, alongside fan favourites such as Into the Mystic and Caravan.

Covers were present-a-plenty too, with the first set beginning with evergreen, Since I Fell for You, and featuring Hank Williams’ Hey, Good Lookin’, followed by a one-time performance of Fred Neil’s Everybody’s Talkin’. The second set includes covers of Johnny Mathis’ Misty, (There’ll Be Bluebirds Over) The White Cliffs of Dover, and closes with Willie Dixon’s I Just Want to Make Love to You.
