This album showcases Tracy Chapman’s stunning concert at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, in Oakland, California, on 27 May 1989, its entirety.

The concert was part of the In Concert Against Aids series, a groundbreaking, 18-months-in-the-making event which took place in the Bay Area over five days at the end of May 1989. Conceived and organised by Bill Graham and billed as a ‘total community effort’ the jewel in the crown was a star-studded concert on 27 May in Oakland.
