This album captures Tool’s astonishing set at the Coca-Cola Starplex Amphitheatre, in Dallas, Texas, on 1 August 1993, during the 1993 Lollapalooza Tour.
Performing early in the day, often to small crowds, Tool played the second stage during the 1993 Lollapalooza circuit. Supporting their debut studio album, Undertow, the tour helped propel them to mainstream success.
Featured here, are some of Tool’s most celebrated early cuts such as Sober, Prison Sex, Intolerance and Bottom. Alice in Chains frontman Layne Staley joined the band onstage for Opiate.
