The Stranglers – Live at the Hope and Anchor, 22 November 1977 (12-Inch Album)

This album showcases the Stranglers’ legendary gig at the Hope and Anchor pub, in Islington, North London, on 22 November 1977.

Regarded as one of the Stranglers’ most memorable performances, many of the songs in the band’s set were played by request; for the gig, they rehearsed their entire catalogue.

Featured, are a host of fan favourites including No More Heroes, Hanging Around, Peaches, Sometimes, Walk On By, Dagenham Dave and many more.

Notably, the concert took place on the opening night of the “Front Row Festival” – a series of shows by regulars of the venue during 1977.
