This album showcases the Specials’ blistering gig at the Paris Theatre, in London, on 15 December 1979, during the Two Tone Tour. Capturing the band at the peak of their early success, this set was recorded for the BBC’s In Concert series.
Featuring the classic line-up of Neville Staples and Terry Hall on vocals, Lynval Golding and Roddy Radiation on guitars, Sir Horace Gentleman on bass, Jerry Dammers on keyboards and John Bradbury on drums, this show perfectly highlights the raw energy and socio-political bite that made the Specials one of the most influential British bands of the late 1970s.
Included, are essential cuts such as Rat Race, Blank Expression, Too Much Too Young, Nite Klub, Gangsters and more.
