This double album showcases the Smashing Pumpkins’ incredible live session, recorded at WZRD-FM Studios, in Chicago, on 16 March 1989.

Included, is the first known performance of the iconic Rhinoceros, that would later appear on Gish, alongside unique covers of the Velvet Underground’s Venus in Furs and Neil Young’s Cinnamon Girl, and much more.

This unmissable set captures a pre-signed Pumpkins nearing the end of their transformation, from a gloomy goth pop group into a rock powerhouse, that would become one of the most successful acts of their generation. This is a great glimpse into the development of a quickly progressing band.
