The Smashing Pumpkins – The Beautiful People (12-Inch Double-LP)

This double album presents the Smashing Pumpkins’ stunning concert at the CHUM-City Building, in Toronto, Ontario, on 19 July 1998, during the An Evening with the Smashing Pumpkins Tour.

Featured, are seven cuts from the then-recent Adore album, including the singles Ava Adore and Perfect, alongside Bullet with Butterfly Wings and 1979. An incredible set-closing cover Joy Division’s Transmission, incorporates portions of David Bowie’s Let’s Dance.

Two bonus tracks, both featuring Marilyn Manson, are drawn from the band’s unplugged set at the eleventh annual Bridge School Benefit charity concert, on 18 October 1997. The event was held at the Shoreline Amphitheatre, in Mountain View, California.
