This anthology comprises a selection of blistering live cuts from post-punk pioneers The Fall, recorded across 1981 and 1982.

Prestwich’s finest were always a phenomenal proposition in a live environment. Mark E. Smith et al would twist the studio versions of their songs into new, angular shapes, often injecting a palpable sense of danger for good measure. The early 1980s not only saw the band at a creative peak, but as a live entity they were fizzing with intensity, something that’s evident across these recordings.

This album includes tracks beloved by fans, showcasing a blend of punk rock fervour and experimental soundscapes. There are plenty of highlights, but it’s the nine-minute-plus version of Deer Park that really stands out.
