Side One features the Fab Four’s appearances at the NME Annual Poll-Winners’ Concert on 26 April 1964, and Blackpool Night Out on 19 July 1964. Side Two features the band’s appearances at the same events the following year.

This album features highlights from two wonderful live performances by the Beatles in Paris, across 1964 and 1965.

The opening five tracks are taken from the band’s afternoon show at the Olympia, on 16 January 1964. The remaining tracks are taken from the Fab Four’s afternoon performance at the Palais des Sports, on 20 June 1965.
