This double album showcases the Allman Brothers Band’s stunning appearance at Woodstock ’94, on 14 August 1994, in its entirety. The festival was held at Winston Farm, just west of Saugerties, New York.
The band’s line-up featured the legendary Gregg Allman on organ (and acoustic guitar) alongside fellow founding members Dickey Betts (guitar), and drummers Butch Trucks and Jaimoe. Additional strength was provided by guitarist Warren Haynes and bassist Allen Woody.
The blistering 80-minute set included classic cuts such as Whipping Post, Midnight Rider, Blue Sky and Jessica, alongside three numbers from their the then-recent album, Where It All Begins.
