Talking Heads – Demonstration Time (12-Inch Double-LP)

This double album presents the demo sessions recorded by the original three-piece lineup of Talking Heads (David Byrne, Tina Weymouth and Chris Frantz) for CBS/Columbia in 1975.

Featured are fifteen legendary cuts, including early versions of future classics such as Psycho Killer, Thank You for Sending Me An Angel, Warning Sign, The Book I Read, Love –> Building on Fire, No Compassion and more.

In addition to the CBS demos, are a string of outtakes and rarities, spanning the years 1976 to 1980.

Showcasing unpolished, high-energy demos and rare performances, Demonstration Time offers an intimate glimpse into the development of Talking Heads’ signature art-punk sound.
