This release chronicles Steely Dan’s acclaimed performance, broadcast live to air, from the Riverport Amphitheatre in Maryland Heights, Missouri, on 1 September 1993.

Featured tracks include Bad Sneakers, Aja, Bodhisattva, Babylon Sisters and many more.

Blending elements of jazz, traditional pop, R&B, and sophisticated studio production with cryptic and ironic lyrics, Steely Dan enjoyed critical and commercial success throughout the 1970s. However, by the release of Gaucho in 1980, Donald Fagan and Walter Becker had dissolved the band to concentrate on solo projects.

The early 90s saw the duo working together again and they decided to hit the road as Steely Dan.

Fantastic-More Please!!!

Steely Dan 93 was best so far! I have a CD of this show and this pressing is much better. Played side by side and the vinyl sounds fuller and feels more like you are there, which I actually was. Beautiful night in an outdoor amphitheater got everyone, on stage and off in to the music. It was a great concert, hoping this will become a double album with the rest of the songs, I'll gladly buy it again!
