Right from the beautiful packaging and scarlet disc, this is a winner. But, of course, it’s the sounds you want - and here, right in the middle of their so-called wilderness years, between the Blood Sugar and Californication behemoths, they are still firing on all cylinders. Blistering versions of Warped and Aeroplane show One Hot Minute to be the gem it should be considered to be. But then, we have Higher Ground too - one of the best covers ever recorded. In short, love it.
