This album captures the Ramones’ legendary free outdoor gig at the Civic Center Plaza, in San Francisco, on 8 June 1979, in its entirety.

Here, the New York punk icons rip through many of their most iconic songs such as Rockaway Beach, Teenage Lobotomy, Blitzkrieg Bop, Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment, I Wanna Be Sedated, Sheena Is a Punk Rocker and many more.

Notably, this was the band’s first live appearance after wrapping up the tense recording sessions for their fifth studio album, End of the Century, with producer Phil Spector.
