Primal Scream – Live at Levitation (Limited Edition 12-Inch Album on Pink and White Swirl Vinyl)

This album documents Primal Scream’s appearance at the Levitation Festival, on 9 May 2015, during the Pre-Chaosmosis Tour. The festival was held at Carson Creek Ranch, in Austin, Texas.

Known for their explosive live sets, this album showcases why Primal Scream is still considered one of the preeminent British rock groups, with the Mercury-prize winning band blasting through tracks off of 1991’s touchstone album, Screamadelica, its boogie-blues-influenced follow-up Give Out But Don’t Give Up, and the heavily electro-influenced cult favourite XTRMNTR.

Featured here are incredible renditions of fan favourites such as Loaded, Movin’ On Up, Higher Than the Sun, Accelerator, Shoot Speed / Kill Light and more.

Primal Scream’s fusion of indie pop and dance broke down musical boundaries and changed the face of British pop music in the ’90s. Their lasting influence is crystallised on this live album.
