This double album showcases two stunning 1969 live performances by Pink Floyd.

Sides One to Three showcase Pink Floyd’s concert at the Old Refectory, at the University of Southampton, on 9 May 1969, in its entirety. This stellar performance took place during the band’s The Man and The Journey Tour.

The Man and The Journey Tour was an informal concert tour by Pink Floyd during which the conceptual music piece The Man and The Journey was played. The suite of music consisted of several of their early songs, some unreleased songs, and material later included on More and Ummagumma.

Side Four features two cuts from the band’s performance at the legendary Essener Pop & Blues Festival at the Grugahalle, in Essen, Germany, on 11 October 1969.

Featured here are astonishing renditions of early Floyd classics such as Astronomy Domine, Interstellar Overdrive, A Saucerful of Secrets, Careful with That Axe, Eugene and more.
