This album showcases Pink Floyd’s concert at the Old Refectory, at the University of Southampton, on 9 May 1969, in its entirety. This stellar performance took place during the band’s The Man and The Journey Tour.

The Man and The Journey Tour was an informal concert tour by Pink Floyd during which the conceptual music piece The Man and The Journey was played. The suite of music consisted of several of their early songs, some unreleased songs, and material later included on More and Ummagumma.

Featured here are stunning renditions of early Floyd classics such as Astronomy Domine, Interstellar Overdrive, A Saucerful of Secrets, Careful with That Axe, Eugene and more.
