This double album showcases Pink Floyd’s mesmerising concert at the Saarlandhalle, in Saarbrücken, Germany, on 28 November 1970, during the Atom Heart Mother World Tour.
On 2 October 1970, Pink Floyd released their fifth studio album, Atom Heart Mother. It was the band’s first album to reach No. 1 in the United Kingdom.
Pink Floyd toured extensively in support of the album, across the United States and Europe, and by November 1970 were in central Europe. This superb set from Saarbrücken features two cuts from Atom Heart Mother, in the shape of the title suite (performed without orchestra) and the Gilmourian classic Fat Old Sun, alongside a selection of earlier fan favourites.
This unmissable performance will prove a delight for Pink Floyd fans everywhere.
