Ozzy Osbourne – Crazy Train: Live in Montreal, 1981 (Limited Edition 12-Inch Album on Splatter Vinyl)

This album showcases Ozzy Osbourne’s blistering gig at the Théâtre Saint-Denis, in Montreal, Quebec, on 28 July 1981, during the Blizzard of Oz Tour.

Featured here, are Ozzy classics such as Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, Flying High Again, I Don’t Know, Suicide Solution, Revelation (Mother Earth) and Believer, alongside an awesome rendition of Black Sabbath’s legendary Paranoid, and more.

Consisting mostly of material from his debut solo studio album, Blizzard of Oz, and what became his second album Diary of a Madman, the Blizzard of Oz Tour clearly demonstrated the excitement Ozzy was creating with his solo project.

The rhythm section of bassist Rudy Sarzo and drummer Tommy Aldridge was rock solid, but it was the innovative guitar work of the mighty Randy Rhoads that made this period in Osbourne’s career so important.

What makes this performance particularly special, is that it is one of the few professional live recordings made of Ozzy and Rhoads on stage together prior to his tragic death in March 1982.

Ozzy Osbourne – Paranoid?: Live at the US Festival, 1983 (Limited Edition 12-Inch Album on Splatter Vinyl)

This album showcases Ozzy Osbourne’s iconic appearance at the US Festival, on 29 May 1983. The festival was held at the Glen Helen Regional Park, in San Bernardino, California.

This was the final show of Speak of the Devil Tour, in support of Ozzy’s first live album, Speak of the Devil.

Here, Osbourne backed by guitarist Jake E. Lee, bassist Bob Daisley, drummer Tommy Aldridge and keyboardist Don Airey. This is the line-up that would go on to record Ozzy’s third studio album, Bark at the Moon.

Featured here, are Ozzy staples such as Crazy Train, Mr. Crowley, Over the Mountain and Flying High Again. Also included are the Black Sabbath classics, Fairies Wear Boots, Iron Man, Children of the Grave and Paranoid.

This album showcases Ozzy Osbourne’s incendiary gig at the Kemper Arena, in Kansas City, Missouri, on 1 April 1986, during the Ultimate Sin Tour.

Here, Ozzy is backed by guitarist Jake E. Lee, bassist Phil Soussan, drummer Randy Castillo and keyboardist Mike Moran.
