Nirvana – Dirty Old Town: Live in Cork, 1991 (Limited Edition 12-Inch Album on Green Vinyl)

This release is limited to 500 copies.

This album presents Nirvana’s incendiary gig at Sir Henry’s, in Cork, Ireland, on 20 August 1991, in its entirety.

Opening for Sonic Youth, notably, this was the band’s first-ever show outside of North America.

The set captures Nirvana just weeks before the release of their breakthrough album, Nevermind. Included are early fan favourites alongside songs that would soon change the face of rock – all played with the intensity and unpredictability that defined their live shows. Featured tracks include Smells Like Teen Spirit, Sliver, Breed, About a Girl, Drain You, Negative Creep and more.

This is an essential document for fans wanting to hear the band right at the turning point of their career.
