This album showcases Mötley Crüe’s blistering appearance at the US Festival, on 29 May 1983, in its entirety. The festival was held at the Glen Helen Regional Park, in San Bernardino, California.

Performing before record-breaking crowd of roughly 375,000 fans, the band debuted tracks from their upcoming second studio album, Shout at the Devil, alongside cuts from their 1981 debut studio album.

Featured during the band’s star-making 45-minute set were fan favourites such as Take Me to the Top, Looks That Kill, Shout at the Devil, Piece of Your Action and Live Wire, alongside a set-closing cover of the Beatles’ Helter Skelter, and more.

Jumping from small Hollywood clubs to a massive desert stage, this legendary performance cemented Mötley Crüe’s place in 1980s hard rock history.
