This album showcases Miles Davis’ stellar appearance at the Live Under the Sky Festival, on 28 July 1985. The festival was held at Yomiuriland in Inagi, Tokyo, Japan.

In 1985, Miles Davis toured Japan alongside Bob Berg, John Scofield, Darryl Jones, Vincent Wilburn Jr. and Steve Thornton. The subsequent performances became legendary for their electric fusion sound, blending jazz, funk, and pop.

Featured here, are unique cover versions of Michael Jackson’s Human Nature and Cyndi Lauper’s Time After Time, alongside Davis originals.

Essential listening for all Miles Davis fans, this album captures a vibrant period of his career.
