This double album captures the Mahavishnu Orchestra’s legendary concert at Woolsey Hall, at Yale University, in New Haven, Connecticut, on 28 October 1973, in its entirety.

Led by guitarist John McLaughlin, the Mahavishnu Orchestra’s complex blend of Indian classical music, jazz and psychedelic rock helped pioneer the jazz-rock fusion of the 1970s. The band received acclaim for their dynamic live performances.

Here, the original lineup of McLaughlin, Billy Cobham (drums), Jan Hammer (keyboards), Jerry Goodman (violin) and Rick Laird (bass) blaze through an expansive, high-energy set.
