This album showcases Kate Bush’s iconic Christmas Special, which aired on the BBC on 28 December 1979. Directed by Roy Norton, the 45-minute performance saw Bush bring the theatricality of her stage show to the small screen.

Here, Kate Bush performs material from her first three albums, including classics such as Symphony in Blue, Them Heavy People and The Man with the Child in His Eyes, alongside the festive-themed song, December Will Be Magic Again, making its debut.

Special guest Peter Gabriel sings Here Comes the Flood from his self-titled debut studio album, and duets with Kate on a cover of Roy Harper’s Another Day.
