These recordings represent the purest available document of early Genesis at their peak as as pioneers of theatrical art and progressive rock.

Highlights include prog classics such as The Musical Box, which perfectly captures the band’s theatrical and dark edge, and Watcher of the Skies, one of their most powerful and atmospheric live staples.

Originally released on 20 July 1973, this was the Genesis’ first album to enter the Top 10 in the United Kingdom, reaching No. 9. This release features the artwork from the original 1973 Italian pressing.
