This album showcases Eric Clapton’s stunning live performance recorded for The Old Grey Whistle Test at BBC Television Theatre, in Shepherd’s Bush, London, on 26 April 1977.
This legendary performance took place just weeks before Clapton entered the studio to record his masterpiece fifth studio album, Slowhand.
Featured here are incredible renditions of classics such as Hello Old Friend and Cream’s Badge, alongside a number of superb covers, including Clapton’s iconic versions of Bob Marley’s I Shot the Sheriff, Bob Dylan’s Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door, Otis Rush’s Double Trouble and more.
