This album showcases Deep Purple’s legendary appearance at the California Jam Festival, on 6 April 1974, in its entirety. The festival was held at the Ontario Motor Speedway, in Ontario, California.

The set captured the Mark III line-up of David Coverdale, Ritchie Blackmore, Glenn Hughes, Jon Lord and Ian Paice in fine form.

Featured here, are four cuts from the then-recent Burn album, including Burn, Might Just Take Your Life, Mistreated and You Fool No One, alongside classics cuts such as Space Truckin’, Smoke on the Water and more.
