This release is limited to 300 copies.
This album showcases David Bowie’s legendary live performance at the Paris Theatre, in London, on 5 February 1970. Bowie’s fourth BBC radio session, the set was recorded for The Sunday Show.
Notably, this was Mick Ronson’s first appearance as Bowie’s guitarist. Also performing was Tony Visconti on bass guitar, and John Cambridge on drums.
A burning piece of Bowie iconography and a foundational moment in the Starman’s decade of dominance, this live session gives a run out for some of Bowie’s rarely heard early numbers such as Amsterdam, God Knows I’m Good, The Width of a Circle, Unwashed and Somewhat Slightly Dazed, Cygnet Committee and many more.
