David Bowie – The Man Who Rocked the World (12-Inch Album on Orange Vinyl)

This unmissable live anthology draws upon two stunning live performances by David Bowie, from 1995 and 2000 respectively.

Included, are four cuts from Bowie’s set at Westway Studios, in London, on 14 December 1995. Taking place during the Outside Tour, the performance was recorded for an extended edition of Channel 4’s The White Room music show. Sharing the stage with Bowie were Reeves Gabrels (guitar), Carlos Alomar (guitar, backing vocals), Gail Ann Dorsey (bass guitar, vocals), Zack Alford (drums), Mike Garson (piano), Peter Schwartz (synthesizer) and George Simms (backing vocals, keyboards).

The remaining tracks are taken from Bowie’s intimate show at the BBC Radio Theatre, in London, on 27 June 2000 – just two days after his headline appearance at Glastonbury. The band included Earl Slick (lead guitar), Mark Plati (rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, backing vocals), Gail Ann Dorsey (bass guitar, rhythm guitar, clarinet, vocals), Sterling Campbell (drums, percussion), Mike Garson (keyboards, piano), Holly Palmer (percussion, vocals) and Emm Gryner (keyboard, clarinet, vocals).
