David Bowie – Phoenix Festival 1996 (12-Inch Double-LP)

This double album captures David Bowie’s spectacular headline appearance at the Phoenix Festival, on 18 July 1996, in its entirety. The festival was held at Long Marston Airfield, near Stratford-upon-Avon, England.

Featured, are five cuts from the then-recent Outside album, including the singles The Hearts Filthy Lesson, Strangers When We Meet and Hallo Spaceboy. Also included are fan favourites such as “Heroes”, The Man Who Sold the World and Under Pressure, covers of Iggy Pop’s Lust for Life and the Velvet Underground’s White Light/White Heat, and more.

Essential listening for all Bowie fans, this legendary set masterfully blends his industrial Outside era with his glam roots.
