Black Sabbath – Lausanne 1970 (Limited Edition Double-LP on Red Vinyl)

This double album showcases Black Sabbath’s astonishing gig at the Electric Circus, in Lausanne, Switzerland, on 29 April 1970, during the Black Sabbath Tour, in its entirety.

Sabbath’s self-titled debut album was released in February 1970, and reached No. 8 in the UK Albums Chart. The band toured to promote the new record, and performed a slew of shows across the UK in March and April 1970, and towards the end of April, they played a handful of concerts in continental Europe. This included two shows in Switzerland, the first of which, on 27th of the month, was Sabbath’s legendary show at the Montreux Casino. Then, on 29th, the band played a remarkable gig at the Electric Circus in Lausanne, most notable as the only time the band played the song, Sleeping Village live.
