Aerosmith – Live! Bootleg (12-Inch Double-LP on 180g Vinyl)

Aerosmith’s legendary double live album, Live! Bootleg, was originally released in October 1978. While most of the performances were drawn from concerts across 1977 and 1978, I Ain’t Got You and Mother Popcorn were taken from the band’s gig at Paul’s Mall, in Boston, on 23 April 1973.

Live! Bootleg is unique in several ways. Whilst other live albums of the time benefited from meticulous studio fixes, wholesale re-mixing, and even extensive overdubbing before finding their way into record stores, Aerosmith made no attempt to create a seamless but unrealistic concert experience. Confusing and exciting in equal measures, Live! Bootleg is not only fantastically entertaining, it is perhaps the most authentic live album of the period.

Featured, are a host of fan favourites including Back in the Saddle, Sweet Emotion, Last Child, Walk This Way and Dream On, one of Aerosmith’s first live performances of the Beatles’ Come Together, and much more.
