Uriah Heep – High and Mighty (2015 Reissue on 180g Vinyl)

Released on 1 June 1976, High and Mighty is the ninth studio album by Uriah Heep. This wonderful album marks the end of the halcyon years for Uriah Heep. This was the last album which featured the late great David Byron – and what a great way to finish a brilliant career!

The highlight of the album for many was Midnight, an atmospheric gothic rocker in the mould of Return to Fantasy. There were lighter moments too such as the punchy stab at the critics in the shape of the life affirming Can’t Keep a Good Band Down.
