BOWIE - SOUNDS + VISIONS - THE BOOK
2ND EDITION - LITHO PRINTED
LIMITED TO 500 COPIES!
This is the long-awaited companion book to accompany the launch of the SOUND+VISION tour 10-inch collector’s edition album.
David stated his greatest hits tour would stimulate him to retire his back catalogue of hit songs and clear the decks so he could produce new material and keep moving forward as an artist.
Featuring extensive interviews with Angie Bowie, Trevor Bolder and Woody Woodmansey alongside Bowie’s own reflections, this is the powerful story of how the key songs featured on the SOUND+VISION tour came into existence.
We delve deep into Bowie’s early years, his global tours, chart topping albums, battles with fame and addiction, and, above all, his stunning creativity – unveiling the unique insider’s story of what life was like working with Bowie in the studio and on the road.
Beautifully presented in a record sleeve format which evokes the halcyon days of vinyl, the second edition of this luxury book is litho printed on heavyweight high-quality art paper and is limited to just 500 copies. Sure to be a highly sought after item, if you love Bowie then you must have this commemorative volume for your collection.

missed out on the Limited Edition of 100, the second printing of 500 is great but no numbering or indication it is which is the only neg. It's a lush affair beautifully printed and texted which makes it readable and enjoyable as it covers the period up to the Sound and vision tour. While this seems to be the spin for it's existence it is xtremely well thought out and planned as its a great overview with a mass of quotes which makes it more personal and to read Dave lying again is always amusing. If you are a sincere fan this is a fine addition to a collection however extensive it is, I have collected Bo for 40 years and am still going so it is excellent to add another book to a collection that is reaching 200 now as the market has been flooded of late. If you are starting a collection or are "on the road" go for it, you should not be disappointed.
