Queen - Greatest Hits II: Limited Edition Double Album on Blue Vinyl

This double album was released in October 1991. It has sold 22 million copies worldwide. In the UK it is the tenth best selling album of all time. In the USA and Canada Greatest Hits II and Classic Queen saw combined sales of 25 million worldwide. 

What makes Queen so special is what makes this album so special. It's the coming together of glamour, rock, fun, funk and sheer song memorability. Before forming Queen, May and Taylor had played together in the band Smile. Mercury joined in 1970 and suggested "Queen". By 1977 their anthems "We are the Champions" and "We will rock you" had become staples at sporting events. By the 1980's they'd become on of the biggest stadium rock bands in the world. Their performance at Live Aid was ranked as one of the best performances ever.

This double album captures the spirt of Queen which sold 170-200 million copies world wide. The fact that the album is on limited edition clear blue makes this album highly collectible.
