Floyd's 9th album has sold 13 million copies to date. It is hailed as one of the greatest albums of all time and was cited by keyboard Richard Wright and guitarist David Gilmour as their favourite Pink Floyd album. It was written on the road while touring Europe.
James Guthrie has remastered most of Pink Floyd's catalogue from the original analogue. There's a saying amongst audiophiles "analogue sounds better on analogue". If you like Floyd and you don't have it, your collection is incomplete! If you have this album you might be wondering how you know if your vinyl is wearing. You might have this on vinyl but it might be wearing. You’ll also notice the tell-tale signs in the higher frequencies such as vocal "S" sounds and the cymbals which will begin to distort.
