GRATEFUL DEAD - WORKINGMAN'S DEAD

LIMITED EDITION PICTURE DISC

The Grateful Dead 50th anniversary re-issue series has unleashed this gem of an album in picture disc format.  Workingman's Dead from 1970  is an iconic album which saw the Grateful Dead  return to the their folk blues roots as opposed to the more experimental psychedelics of their first three albums. This "back to basics" recording eschews LSD for  gentle Americana based songs of silver mines, red whisky, sleeping switch-men, and the Cumberland mine with wonderfully intricate melodies that still sound so fresh today.

This wonderful picture disc was produced in a limited edition of just 10,000 copies world wide and new copies are now hard to find. So if you want one grab one quick!
