This superb concert from the 1975 Stormbringer tour showcases just how good Deep Purple Mark III could be . That's no surprise when you consider the fantasticset list. Side A kicks of with Burn, Stormbringer and The Gypsy. Side B is equally strong with Lady Double Dealer followed by Mistreated. Side C briefly harks back to Deep Purple Mark II with Smoke On The Water, before we hear the trademark Deep Purple extended instrumental work out on You Fool No One . This vinyl feast of Deep Purple in concert concludes with a powerful live version of Space Truckin' which stands comparison with the legendary Made In Japan set.

However, by 1975,  Ritchie Blackmore had already fallen out of love with his old band and was ready to move on to his Rainbow project. So this superb double album is equally important as it marks the end of the Mark III line-up.

This limited double album edition on crystal vinyl comes in a wonderful gate-fold sleeve and has been a smash hit with the Deep Purple fraternity. New copies are increasingly rare and hard to find, so if you want one you should move fast.
