This superb anthology brings together a series of electrifying live sessions recorded by Deep Purple for the BBC across 1969 and 1970.

The opening three tracks feature Deep Purple’s Mark I lineup with vocalist Rod Evans at the helm. Highlights include the iconic single Hush, and an awesome cover of Skip James’ I’m So Glad (famously reworked in 1966 by Cream).

The remaining tracks showcase the legendary Mark II lineup of Ian Gillan, Jon Lord, Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover and Ian Paice in performance. Highlights include powerful renditions of classics such as Black Night, Child in Time, Bloodsucker, Into the Fire and more.
